PANABO CITY – A delegation from Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), led by College President Joy M. Sorrosa, attended the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Course for Infrastructure and Development Projects of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs). The course took place from June 20 to 21, 2024, at the Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay, Aseana Business Park, Parañaque City.

The course comprised eight modules, focusing on PPP frameworks as applied to infrastructure and development projects. Key topics included legal and regulatory frameworks, project identification, feasibility assessment, and the role of PPPs in enhancing the higher education landscape. During the session, two of these modules were thoroughly discussed.

Accompanying the college president were Vice President for Administration and Finance Reir Erlinda E. Cutad, Planning and Resource Management Director Charlo Bianci M. Guray, Planning Officer III Joshua P. Elardo, and representative from the DNSC Infrastructure Unit, Engr. Christian Paolo A. Mora.

The two-day session aimed to help SUCs leverage public and private sector collaboration for resource optimization, sustainability, and economic growth.
