PANABO CITY – On July 24, 2024, the Sociocultural and Sports Coordinators of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) in Region XI convened at the Gender and Development Conference Room of Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) to strategize and improve development programs for student athletes and performers.

Representatives from several State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) were in attendance, including those from DNSC, Davao de Oro State College (DdOSC), Davao del Sur State College (DSSC), the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST), and the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP). Although Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) and the University of the Philippines Mindanao (UP Min) received invitations, they could not send representatives due to scheduling conflicts.

The gathering underscored PASUC XI’s commitment to fostering collaboration and enhancing the holistic development of students in sociocultural and sports activities. Dr. Melissa G. Dalumay, PASUC XI Secretary-General, welcomed the delegation and provided updates on the upcoming activities, following her attendance at the recent PASUC National Convention.

This collaborative effort highlights the dedication of PASUC XI to elevate the standards of student development programs, ensuring that students are well-equipped with the necessary skills and values to excel in their respective fields.
