PANABO CITY –College President Joy M. Sorrosa, Finance Services Division Director Rhaymart Joe O. Gella, and Planning and Resource Management Director Charlo Bianci M. Guray represented Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) at the plenary budget deliberation for State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) held at the Plenary Session Hall, Batasang Pambansa Complex, on September 18, 2024.

The committee and House of Representatives members were briefed on the Fiscal Year 2025 Financial Overview of SUCs, covering major thrusts, ongoing and upcoming programs, significant projects, fund release status, income, and major accomplishments. Pre-plenary budget deliberations also took place on September 17.

Following the deliberation, the DNSC team met with 2nd District Davao del Norte Congress Representative Alan R. Dujali to discuss budget proposals not included in the FY 2025 National Expenditure Program (NEP). These proposals include funding for the completion of the Library and Information Resource Center upgrade, Administration Building renovation, and operational budgets for the DNSC Carmen, Santo Tomas, and IGaCoS campuses.
